This is the Red Eye Tree Frog, a very colorful frog that uses his red eyes to his advantage. When a predator tries to sneak up on him when sleeping, all he has to do is open those eyelids and he has the element of surprise in his hands. Red bulging eyes can be quite unnerving. I mean, did you see Black Swan?
